Celeste Wiki is a website about the video game Celeste that anyone can edit, currently having 284 articles. Our goal is to document everything Celeste-related, vanilla and modded.

The Celeste Wiki community portal is where you can learn about the wiki, its projects and initiatives, and how you can help! Join us and the Celeste community by sharing your knowledge. You'll also have the chance to meet other friendly and welcoming contributors!

Here are the things you can do to enhance the Celeste Wiki. Don't feel restricted by it: this list is not exhaustive.

Custom maps/Modded

Having information about modded content is as important as about the base game. We encourage you to share your knowledge about mods, collabs, and so forth! A step-by-step guide for writing articles about fan-made maps is for your service.

Techniques

The Tech page, despite being ~~one of~~ the largest in the wiki, still lacks information about many techniques. Try your hand at improving this article, either by adding undescribed techniques (there's lots of them!) or correcting info about existing ones. Thanks!

Editing

New to editing wikis? You may then find this guide useful. Try out the Spambox for testing purposes. Don't be afraid to ruin everything: you likely won't. And if you do, someone will revert or fix it. Again, we're more than happy to help with anything!

You can edit without an account, but registering has clear benefits. One example is being identifiable by the username instead of a few numbers, possibly with letters.

Fact-check and extend Mechanics, Tech, or articles about mods
Participate in community discussions

Community

The founder and bureaucrat of Celeste Wiki is User:Celeste. To see who's active nowadays, visit Special:ActiveUsers (or Celeste Wiki:Active Admins if you need them). Administrators are usually elected via the Vote for sysops system. We aim to maintain a welcoming and cozy atmosphere that is open and inclusive of people of all backgrounds.

If you know how to make a particular article, category, etc., look better, simply try editing it! If the page is protected or you're unsure, you can post it on that article's talk page. For proposals affecting multiple pages or the entire wiki, one place to share them is at the Portal's talk page. Besides, our Discord server is always a great place to get in touch with other contributors!
