Farewell is the final chapter to Celeste, and one of the hardest[1]. Released on September 9, 2019 as a free content update, it features a space-themed setting, and various new mechanics such as Double Diamonds, Exploding Fish and Jellyfish. It also brings back mechanics from every other chapter of Celeste, chapters 1 through 8 inclusively.
Farewell introduces Wavedashing to the player, but also uses other speedrun techniques such as Wallbounces.
