Celeste Wiki:List of templates

From Celeste Wiki
Jump to navigation Jump to search

This list catalogs and briefly describes (if the name is not descriptive enough) the most used templates on Celeste Wiki in logical-alphabetical order. For more details, check the documentation pages and look for use examples (press "What links here" on the template's page). Templates used only on one or a few special pages (like Template:VFSrules or Main Page templates) may not be listed. Some templates may be listed multiple times if they have multiple different use cases. You may also want to browse Category:Templates or use your browser's Search function (default: Ctrl+F).

Notice templates[edit | edit source]

Leave some notes about the article. They may or may not be in the form of an ambox.

Special thingy templates[edit | edit source]

Some of these cannot be used outside a table with a certain structure (which is limited to one page). They are still included because of their abundance on respective pages.

Statistics templates[edit | edit source]

Templates that show statistics of the wiki, the game, or the mod. The game version is one of the statistics.

(actual) Substitution templates[edit | edit source]

Those have no arguments, no additional functions, and their sole purpose is if their message is to be changed, this message should be changed everywhere it's used.

Item (emoji) templates[edit | edit source]

They insert a letter-sized picture of something.

Formatting templates[edit | edit source]

Templates that help format (or hide) content.

These templates switch some content upon user interaction. For images, you may also use galleries in slideshow mode or tabs (example: Summit/Collectibles)

  • Template:Imageswitch switches an image to another one when the user clicks a button (that's actually a div).

Other formatting[edit | edit source]

Infobox templates[edit | edit source]
