Summit/Collectables

Summit A-Side features 47 red strawberries and a golden strawberry. Additionally, one crystal heart and one cassette tape can be found. This page is a guide on how to obtain all the collectibles hidden within.

Crystal Heart

The Summit houses the hardest-to-find crystal heart in the game. You will need to collect 6 gems, one in each subchapter: Start, 500 M, 1000 M, 1500 M, 2000 M, and 2500 M. Once you collect all of the gems, you can find the crystal heart in a hidden room near the start of 3000 M.

Gem 1

Gem

The very first gem can be found during the Start subchapter, in the last room. Right before you take the final Badeline booster to 500 M, go all the way right to find the first gem.

The second gem can be found at 500 M, near the third room. There, head left of strawberry 5 and go to the left. Now, in a tall room containing strawberry 6, head right of strawberry 6 into a room which has a lot of zippers and spikes. Near the end of this room, head down the small crack into the floor. You will find yourself in the gem room.

This gem is a reference to the last of the order from Towerfall.

Gem 3

The third gem can be found at 1000 M near the large room containing many dream blocks. Immediately head up, exiting though the first opening in the top of the room. Now, in a taller room, dash through the dream block on the right to find a secret room containing strawberry 13. From there, head up and right between the first two dream blocks. There is a smashable wall, leading into the gem room.

Gem 4

The fourth gem can be found at 1500 M, in a long horizontal room containing a torch switch. Near the end of the room you can find a hidden path leading to the gem room.

The gem is a reference to the turncloak soldier from Towerfall.

Gem 5

The fifth gem can be found at 2000 M. Get to the second room and head left to find a large pit. Go straight up above the spikes to reveal a place to stand on. Then dash left into the next room, from there go under and around the stalactite then straight up to find another place to stand. From there, head left and up, exiting the room from the top. You will find yourself in the gem room.

This gem is a reference to the assassin prince from Towerfall.

Gem 6

The sixth and final gem can be found at 2500 M. Take the first Red Bubble and head left, smashing through the wall. Now in the room containing strawberry 33 take the Red Bubble in there and go right, smashing through the wall. Stay in the bubble until it lands, then immediately head up into a long horizontal room. Complete it to find the final gem.

This gem is a reference to the ancient exile from Towerfall.

Collecting the Crystal Heart

Once you have collected all 6 gems, you can find the Crystal Heart at 3000 M. The Crystal Heart room can be found just right of flag 28. A wall with a small gap beneath can be found; dash in there to head towards the Crystal Heart room.

Strawberries

Start

Strawberry 1

The entrance to the room that holds this strawberry is found in the third room of the subchapter. For this it, you collect the berry immediately, then have to navigate a room full of spikes to find a safe space to collect it.

Strawberry 2 & 3

The entrance to the room that holds this strawberry is found in the fifth room of the subchapter. The first berry requires you to dash up to a spring which launches you into a wall, where you have to use your 2 dashes to grab it and land back on the platform to collect it. The second berry requires you to dash up and walljump into a Dash Refill, then drop down to grab the berry and dash onto the starting platform and collect it.

Strawberry 4

This strawberry requires you to dash above some platforms with spikes and, once you pick it up, successfully complete the rest of the room to collect it.

500 M

Strawberry 5

This berry requires you to take an alternate route to grab it, then to collect either continue on the path or backtrack it to the platform you jumped off.

Strawberry 6

This berry is found on the alternate path in the previous room, and is found at the end of the next room.

Strawberry 7

This berry is found in a secret room to the left of the room of the previous berry. The player must use Traffic blocks to conserve their dashes to collect the berry.

Strawberry 8

This berry is found on the other path found at strawberry 5. It is a Winged Red Strawberry, which means that if the player tries to dash it will fly upwards, out of the room. To collect the berry, you must use the spring to launch yourself right and use both of your dashes to go over the platform whee the berry is, and collect it while it is flying away.

Strawberry 9

This berry is found a few rooms after the 2 paths at berry 5 converge, so it is possible to collect regardless of the route taken. To collect it, the player must make a falling block fall down and then climb up and grab the berry. Then, they must make the rightmost falling block fall and use the spring attached to reach the end of the room to collect it.

Strawberry 10

To collect this berry, the player must first get to the end of the final room of the subchapter, but instead of touching the final Badeline orb, they must climb the right girders until they find a hole in one that leads to the area where the berry is.

1000 M

Strawberry 11

The entrance to the room this berry is held in is found in the fourth room of the subchapter. To collect it, the player must use 2 Dream Blocks to grab the berry. To get back, they must use the other sides of the blocks as the sides they used to grab the berry have spikes on them.

Strawberry 12

The entrance to the room that this berry is held in is found 1 room after the previous room, where you could enter the Strawberry 11 room, and the challenge is similar: collecting it requires going up a one-way Dream Block and going down it using the sides of it.

Strawberry 13

This berry is found in a secret room in the first route in the 'crossroads room', which also connects to the room where the twelfth strawberry is. To find this berry, the player must use a Dream Block to enter a secret hole in the wall.

Strawberry 14

This berry is found in the room left of where the first path from the 'crossroads room'. To collect it, the player must use Dream Blocks to climb up the room, while conserving a dash to enter the next dream block.

Strawberry 15

This berry is found after the 2 paths in the 'crossroads room' converge. It is hidden in a secret area the room after they converge, and can be found based on the four spikes outside it.

Strawberry 16

This berry is found just after the final Badeline orb, and is hidden in a Dash Block.
