Neutral jumps become very handy for stamina conservation. Because of this, a lot of stamina puzzles can be made easier by saving stamina with this trick. It's also very useful for speedrunners or people attempting to get the [[golden strawberry]], especially for recovery in case of a mistake or loss of stamina. Neutrals also allow the player to climb walls covered in ice, which appear in {{ch|8|lf=1}} and in a room in {{ch|9|lf=1}}.
