In real life, '''Mount Celeste''' is a 2,041 meter (6,696 ft) mountain located on [[w:Vancouver Island|Vancouver Island]], Canada with geographical coordinates [https://www.google.com/maps/place/Mount+Celeste/ 49°34′N 125°24′W]. It is part of the Strathcona Provincial Park and lies at the northernmost part of Rees Ridge. Iceberg Peak is its shorter sister peak located south of it. The first peak's ascent is credited to Jack Horbury and Jock Sutherland on August 18, 1934.
