In ''Celeste'', '''Seekers''' are hostile monsters whichthat fly towards Madeline on sight, attacking her. They can only be found in [[Mirror{{ch|5|lf=1}} Temple]]and its subsequent B-Sides. Seekers, behave like spikes,[[snowballs]]; it killkills on contact; however, like snowballs,but Madeline can jump on athe seeker into orderdisable toit temporarily, disableregaining ita dash and receiving some vertical speed. When a seeker reactivates, it produces a ring of momentum around it, which can be used to gain speed or traverse long distances. SeekersA seeker can destroy special [[seekerred blocks]] on collision, whichand arethis red-coloredmay sometimes be needed to complete a screen or acquire a collectible.
