An '''ice wall''' is an object placed on the left or the right side of walls. When placed, the wall will function as normal, except that [[Madeline]] will not be able to grab it; however, she can still [[Neutral jumps|neutral jump]] or do other moves that do not require a grab. They are first introduced in {{ch|8A|lf=1}}, but can also be found in {{ch|8B}} and {{ch|9|lf=1}}. They are replaced with [[Wall Booster|Wall Boosters]] in the Core's "hot" mode.
