Celeste Wiki:Deadnames

The following is Celeste Wiki's deadname policy:

DO. NOT. DEADNAME. ANYONE. If someone has recently come out, please correct any and all mentions of their deadname to their correct name. No mentions of deadnames should occur, even if a person was highly notable, either within or outside of the Celeste community, under their deadname. Deadnaming may be considered transphobia. The only exception is when the user has explicitly specified that they are fine with being deadnamed.

Because of this, you can correct deadnames (either of yourself or other people) on every page of Celeste Wiki, including pages in other users' namespaces. You can also use any automated software (allowed by Miraheze's Terms of Use and other policies) to remove deadnames, so long as you ensure as few false positives as possible. However, if the person is active on Celeste Wiki, refrain from changing their deadnames unless they ask so.
