Zippers, sometimes referred to as traffic blocks, are a mechanic first introduced in the first chapter of the game, [[Forsaken City]], but appear in quite a few other chapters. When [[Madeline]] touches a zipper, by standing on it or grabbing the side of it, it will zip across its specified distance, hence the name. Zippers introduce Madeline to the core mechanic [[momentum]].
